Starting a career doesn’t happen over night. It takes time, persistence and patience. In the long-run it’s worth it.

There is nothing wrong with any job you work at. No matter how low or high on the business ladder and everyone in-between are needed to make the world go ’round. It takes starting at the bottom to learn and work your way to the top.

Today I was thinking about how lucky I am to have a part-time job, although not particularly fond of it. But customers are who get me through the day. To see their smiling familiar faces each morning is enough to enjoy my temporary job.

The sweat and nonsense that goes with the job are the dues you pay to society. I believe this prepares us for a career – learning to work hard and build a tough skin.

During the past couple weeks, I have begun to Network again. The hard work part-time is totaly worth it because this week, I got two leads for writing projects.

So the next time you catch yourself complaining about your job, tough it out while you work on doing something about it on the side.
